Capt. Glen P. Banks died December 15, 2010 in his Westminster, Maryland home. He was 63 years old. Raised in New York, Capt. Banks served in the U.S. Navy and sailed on merchant ships during Vietnam and the First Gulf War.

Her positive attitude didn’t change when she was diagnosed with cancer; instead it became a path to a new outlook on life. In February of 2006, doctors discovered a five pound GIST tumor after complaints of tiredness and a painful backache.
