Our Good News Holiday Campaign is the culmination of our year of “Time to Tell the Stories 2022.” In this series, we celebrate the connections, the celebrations, the events and milestones that we’ve been privileged to be a part of this year. Our 20th anniversary year is winding down and we are wrapping it up by spreading good news & gratitude throughout the season. Your financial donations and selfless volunteerism are what enable us to continue providing vital services to our GIST community.
Celebrating Our Support Services
Our Support Services grew tremendously this year. Currently there are three regular online support groups where both patients and caregivers receive support and encouragement and the assurance that they are not alone.
Our GIST Mentor Program, founded in 2018, has grown to 32 mentors and 280 mentees, and expanded this year to include global mentors and mentees.
These programs are vital to fulfilling our goal that no GIST patient or caregiver should ever feel alone on this journey. Your donations help us provide our mentors with valuable resources and training and keeps our support groups available for all members.
