The GIST Day of Learning (GDOL) New York City was held on June 29th at the American Cancer Society. The Life Raft Group held a Regional Cancer Moonshot Summit combined with a GIST Day of Learning. The purpose of this summit was to bring together individuals in an attempt to develop strategies to double the rate of progress towards a cure for cancer. We livestreamed remarks by Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden (who addressed the main event in Washington DC). We engaged the community in a conversation to discuss efforts to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care.
