Gerardo Jerry Marra, age 58 of Woodcliff Lake (Paramus) NJ passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Born in Italy, he was the son of Donato & Anita Marra. The beloved husband of Anna Marie (Matteo) for 36 years, he was the devoted father of Rebecca Celli & husband Thomas, Christina McElroy & husband Keith, Jacqueline Marra-Krutak & husband John and was the loving grandfather of Jerard & Liliana McElroy. Dear brother of Carmine, Salvatore and Daniel Marra, he was also loved by numerous brothers-in law, sisters-in law, nieces and nephews.
A true Renaissance man, he was a man of many talents which served him well as a supervisor at the USPS. Through his faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he was able to endure until the very end when he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
A Memorial Talk was held on Saturday, November 14 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 223 Cherry Lane, Airmont, NY 10952.
