My name is Darlene, and I come from the northwest corner of Indiana, just a 20-minute drive from the scenic Lake Michigan Dunes to the north, or 25 minutes west to Gary, murder/crime capital of the country. Actually, we live in a rural area, surrounded by corn and soybean fields and the occasional pig farm when hog prices go up, which hasn't been lately.
