Daniel Wieland – In Memoriam

He was a member of the Antrim County Farm Bureau, Ellsworth Lions Club (past King Lion), Michigan Township Association, Antrim County Township Association (president). Dan served as Banks Township supervisor from 1991-2005. He was Banks Township assessor for many years and served on Banks Township Fire & Rescue, and the Ellsworth Community School Board.

Dr. Lewis Thorp – In Memoriam

Lewis Sumner Thorp, M.D., 79, of Rocky Mount departed this life on August 17, 2005. “Rocky Mount has lost a truly outstanding citizen and, for those of us who knew Lewis personally, an outstanding friend. He was an outstanding and dedicated physician, an interested and informed citizen,” says Rocky Mount Mayor Fred Turnage.

Terri Stevens – In Memoriam

Terri L. Stevens of Colchester, Conn., a 15-year survivor of GIST, succumbed to the disease July 19, 2005. She was 42. Born in Hartford, Conn., she was the youngest daughter of Josephine and the late Walter Remillard. She grew up in Hartford and East Harford, and had resided in Colchester for the past 13 years

Daniel Raymond Hoffman – In Memoriam

Daniel Raymond Hoffman of Mechanicsburg, Penn., died Sunday, June 19, 2005. He was 58. He was born Oct. 23, 1946, in Harrisburg, a son of Ruth E. Hoffman Sheibley of Camp Hill, Penn. He retired in November of 2004 after 23 years of service with Naval Sea Logistics, Department of the Navy, in Mechanicsburg.

Avraham Anidjar – In Memoriam

Life Raft member Avraham Anidjar of Los Angeles died April 17 after a seven-year battle with GIST. He was 51, and leaves his wife, Sara, and four children. This was the message she sent to the Life Raft.
